About Tracy Green

I moved to Anmore with my husband in 2003 with the idea that we wanted to raise our young family in a small semi-rural community, while still being a part of the Greater Vancouver area.

Most of my time in Anmore has been spent as a parent to 2 small children and as a volunteer in the community. This opportunity to be present and involved in the community has allowed me to meet so many wonderful Anmore residents and to participate in many local endeavors.

In my professional life, I have spent the past 14 years in business consulting, online marketing and advertising and most recently took on a position as the Market Manager for the Coquitlam Farmers Market Society.  I enjoy working for a non-profit that is rooted in providing the surrounding community with access to local food and the development of events that work towards building a sustainable community.

While my volunteer efforts and commitment is certainly based in Anmore, I have a great interest in how our own community interacts with the surrounding Tri-Cities and Metro Vancouver as a whole.

The Village of Anmore deserves a Council that can work together on behalf of the residents of Anmore and address the unique needs of Anmore as a municipality both locally and in the greater context of our inclusion in Metro Vancouver.

I look forward to being a part of Anmore Council and hope you will take the time to discuss your vision of Anmore with me
.

Sincerely,
Tracy Green

My Decision to Run

My decision to run for Anmore Council is part of my long standing commitment to the community of Anmore.  Our community needs strong leadership and a council that is willing to work co-operatively and progressively for the Village and its residents.

I feel truly privileged to be living in such a unique and wonderful corner of Metro Vancouver and look forward to an opportunity to not only address some of the challenges our community faces, but to work with residents and community stakeholders to help shape Anmore's community plan and policies through community consultation.

Thank you to all those that have chosen to support me in this endeavor.
